Today I gave a 30 minute slide show presentation to all of the 7th graders at my sons Jr. High School, about 2-300 kids. They had done a unit on Australia in geography reicently. The teacher asked me if I would be a guest speaker having seen some of my photographs. Many of my photos were when the Australian contingent came and got me and took the time to drive allover creation. I almost forgot how much fun I had that day and just wanted to say again how nice it was for you guys to do that. I think the kids really enjoyed the puddle jumping shots as well as the overlook scenery.

Thank you it was a rare and memorable opportunity for me to even be able to visit let alone to have been treated so well.

Thanks :)

Peaty

Many of the photos I used were here:

You are a lucky bugger Peaty, I have never been to Mt Panorama and I live in here (Aust.).

The trip & company was good indeed & I'm glad everyone enjoyed it . I've thought of running the "Peaty Day Trip" again as a club social / scenic event.

bring it on Kev. i was spewin i couldn't make the Peaty trip, but i have been up that way a few times before and i must say it's a great part of the world. we did this one track which returned us back from the blackfellows track to camp and it was hardcore! would like to do that again:lildevil: were you thinking on doing an over nighter?

^ originally it was a day trip with a stop at the pub at Kurrajong Heights for an evening meal on the return journey.

Perhaps we could throw "something" interesting in at the end and stay overnight instead. I'll give it some thought.

Where was camp?

^ the camp we stayed at was right at the begining of the blackfellows fire trail. lots of area, just a pit toilet and bins.

I think I know where you mean eden. Is this the camping spot you were thinking of ? If so it's called "Bungleboori" picnic & camping ground.
