Who's keen?
Been ages since we all got together for an offroad trip.
Who's keen. I was thinking Lancilen for the day. Abit of offroading, a BBC, few beers and a swim at the beach.
Would be great to finish the year off and have a few new members join...
Was thinking early December or late November before people go away and the likes. .

People keen:
Taza
Davidov

Stilson?
Beej?
Tim?
Gt surfer?

id be keen, what day would it be?

I should be able to make it for a Sunday, not sure about the BBC though?! looked it up in urban dictionary :rotfl:

The 27th of Nov (Saturday) is the last day I'll be free before going away for December, and can't do the weekend before that, so kind of limited.

See what others can do...

How about December the 1st which is a Sunday?

Since the last time I tried to take my foz out I had a coil spring snap(again) so I'm really keen to get out there....

Will be down in Esperance taza!

*meant the 30th too...

Haha my gain! Will get to drive those big Esperance dunes and nice white beaches!!

Have to organise a trip down South I reckon early in the new year...

So many options!!

Dwellingup - good hard tracks and camping by the river down - only an hour away
Augusta - forest tracks, nice and muddy after rains, hill climbs, beach drives
Harvey Dam - wanted to check this out for awhile now... has good fishing too
Holland Track - on my list of to do's

etc...

Yeah, definitely need to grab a sump guard before next year! That will probably be the first mod.

Massni, you'll be surprised where you can take it stock with street tyres! That's taken it's toll on my car though, suspension is shot now! New stuff on the way though.

Tyres really make a difference, but you should be alright on the sand, maybe not on rocks though... Was the first thing I upgraded on the car, some good AT's and reckon they've got me farther offroad!

Yep stock foz will do it easy.

Being turbo you won't need low range. Happy to show you guys a few tips about not burning the clutch too.

Cool. looks like we have a few people who are keen.. :raspberry:

I know that it's still a very capable vehicle, and I'm a pretty decent offroad driver, I just want to makesure I'm not a burden on the group getting bogged and what not.
Luckily I have the 4eat tranny. Sucks not having hi low, but In my opinion autos are alot better for most offroading and crawling. Also I have worked out a launch technique for getting going on the soft stuff that works really well for me :)

Sounds like a good trip. Keen as. :)

Ill be heading home the weekend before chrissy so hopefully before then.
