Nice Job and the fact that you did it yourself full kudos to you! Looks good. how much lift did you get? Ground to wheel arch Before and After?

Nice touch cleaning the wheels but keeping a bit of mud on the car for the photos.

It's a 2" strut lift.
Here's some pics of them before they went in.

My welds aren't pretty but they're strong.

Nice work frogstar!!! So how much offset did you use in the lift blocks, and have you had an alignment done yet? Curious if you had to use camber bolts to correct the alignment.

I put 6mm (.236) of offset on them.
Haven't got the alignment yet but it looks right and drives/tracks straight and true.
If it's out of spec when they do the alignment I'll get some camber bolts for the rear.

Nice work!

I'm sure you'll have a few requests to make some more now! Could be a good way to fund future mods, perhaps to get a front bar sent over from here?:lildevil:

It is only a one inch lift, but here is a commercially available option, similar to yours, but doesn't offset the strut to 'correct' alignment. You could probably take your design to a fabricator, have a bunch made, and sell them pretty easily, especially if you offered them in 1" and 2" heights..

Looks good, BTW, but now you need bigger tires..

Looking good mate!! the Forester's always look good lifted
nice job on making your own lift for it good work
have fun offroading it.:lildevil:
