Can anyone please help me?

I went for a mud session over the weekend and when I was hosing my forester off I noticed the right rear sway bar end link is angled in a long way, compared to the left hand side which is slightly angled out (See photos for left and right comparison).

Is this something to worry about? I am assuming that the sway bar has somehow become off-centered and I can just move it back which will even up the angle of the end links?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Loosen the mounts and push it back; should be fine.

I had the same thing happen to me once (I won't say how it happened though )
I did just what Kevin & yarney said & never had any issues :)

After seeing this, went and checked mine. Sure enough it looked exactly the same! Was an easy fix as everyone said.

Check with the dealer or the Factory Service Manual for the torque values for the sway bar chassis mounts...might need to be tightened to spec to keep from moving around. Check the bushings in the mounts while you are there for cracking, dried-out look, chunks missing, etc. - they lose their grip on the bar after a few years....HTH

Thanks everyone for the replies. Turns out to be quite an easy fix!

Cheers
