Rear diff gets burning hot!

Rear diff gets burning hot! Is this from the very close exhaust pipe?

Are there any heat shields from the front exhaust that I could migrate back to the rear diff area to heat shield the diff and possibly the nearer CV boot?

yep rally is write. drain the diff oil and inspect if its burnt you will tell from the very strong smell
