Hi guys. I just bought a subaxtreme sump guard second hand. It didnt come with the bolts for it though.

Any one have any idea on the size I need? Any other tips for removing the splash guard and fitting the subaxtreme guard?

Cheers,

Paul

^ 1. unbolt splash guard and keep bolts.
2. Put subaxtreme sump guard where splash guard was.
3. Use bolts that held splash guard in place.

Thank you.. assumed it was only the little plastic plugs down there. Now the fun begins trying to remove them all while getting sand in the eyes..

My plastic sump guard has one central mounting bolt at the rear, and the subaxtreme guard has two holes, non-centered. Re-use of the bolts varies, depending on your model, you may need a bracket at the rear, and even those vary between models. For example, see this thread: https://offroadsubarus.com/showthread.php?t=4104
The two bolts at the front seem to be in fairly similar positions between models, although some will require spacers.
