Had an awesome day trip with my littlest girl today. She was the rainbow in the rainforest @ Kondalilla Falls near Maleny, Qld.

I was accused of a being a tourist when I took this:

But I have to say, the only rubbish we saw in 4.2kms was somebodies drink bottle floating in one of the pools right down the bottom.

I am still blown away by the whole place. It was absolutely beautiful.

I was glad today to have a couple of things that she knows about my camera shown to me... I am still learning ....:rotfl:

Was a great chance to test out Scooby2's new clutch on a short day trip. She was awesome.

Best regards,

So green I can almost taste it, Kondalilla Falls looks like my kinda place!
Great shots Scooby and good to hear that the clutch is good.:monkeydance:

Very nice looking spot, S2 .

You'll have to wander me up there when I (finally) come up to Brissy again. Hopefully not too far in the future!

Glad that Scooby2's new clutch is performing properly ... .

[EDIT]
Thought the name sounded familiar. I was there about 40 years ago ... Off the Grand Ridge Road (?) between Mapleton and Maleny?

Thanks Gravel Rocks, it was just great to be back in the bush, specially with one of my kids
Best regards,

Gidday Ratbag - for sure you will have to go there... it's a great trip, and probably lots more we didn't see but could have. Funny thing tho... along the way, every car going in the opposite direction for about 1/2 an hour was a Subaru.....!
Best regards,

^ Too right, Mr T.

I'm thinking I might do a loop from Brisbane to Oakey, then via the Bunya Mountains and back through here to Caloundra where an old friend now lives.
