I wanna lift my 03 forester!

So I have a 2003 forester 2.5x.... and I want to lift it 3" I don't know anything about lifting a car! I need as much info I can get.. Such as brand names, websites, different types of kits, DIY tips.... Anything!!!!

Check out this thread for DIY info, or SUMO Parts to purchase a kit. Both pertain to 2" lifts, if you want that third inch, look into some raised King Springs available from Primitive Racing in the US.

Thanx guys! Love the DIY thread but I don't have the equipment for it though! So I am going to purchase the parts! But I still have questions!

Is there any thing else other than the sumo 2" lift kit, sumo 2" trailing arm spacer set, and the raised king springs?

And can you direct me to any videos that could help me out!
I wanna do this right!

Sumo is the only manufacturer of 2" lift kits in the US AFAIK. Subtle Solutions Lift Kit is a 1" lift kit but its a solid block so doesnt have camber correction.

I dont think anyone makes a 3" kit anymore

Its not recommended but you could stack a Sumo 2" lift on top of the Subtle 1" block....a better way would be Sumo 2" with Kings raised springs. Thats a total of 3 1/2"
