grounding ej25 1996 outback

Hey guys just wondering if anyone had re grounded thier 1996 subaru outback ej25
I nedd to know where all the point are and what you used and how u did it . Ive got 8g cable being delivered today

A link.for this would be great if someone has done.this on the same model as mine

On my Foz I ran a cable from each side of the engine to the top of each strut tower.

I'd start by checking and soldering the factory grounding wires.

Nah, 2 thick cables is just fine

Start with a multimeter check the voltage at the battery terminals, leaving the lead on the positive of the battery compare the voltage drop with a few parts of the car eg engine block L / R , alternator, intake manifold,ecu and any other grounding point record the voltage's then record them again at idle. anywhere theres a voltage drop make a connection to the chassis. I cleaned all my grounding locations in the engine bay with a dremel because my stereo and uhf wasn't earthing properly.
