A Bit of Fun

My mind has been blown. I cannot even begin to imagine what the algorithm responsible for that "game" looks like. Really cool though. It got it right every time, even when I tried really hard to think of obscure characters.

Well that's what i was thinking...who sat around putting all that info in??
When i first did it my first one was Blackbeard the pirate (don't where i dug that up from!!) and the second was John McEnroe. Pretty diverse people but it got both of them.
Bloody amazing what people do and what you can find out there in the cyber cloud interweb isn't it :).

Well i just did it and it got it right. You sure you answered as it asked??
Try agian and see how you go.

4 IN A ROW! How does it do it

1. Marcel Marceax
2. Goldie Hawn
3. Dave Allen
4. Brian May

Unbelievable, I just played again, My character was Izzy the '96 Olympics mascot, and it got it right. That character had only been used 300+ times before m go at it. This thing never ceases to amaze me.

Good stuff.

Captain Horatio Hornblower gave it no trouble at all, took about 15 question to nail thast first time.

Marshal Louis Davout was too hard for the genie though: after maybe 80 questions and several wrong guesses, the genie gave up. Interestingly though, on giving up it managed to provide me with a short list of two possibilities, one of them the correct one. I was impressd!

I tried a few times, and did manage to stump the genie. I might have done so twice, but I answered a questioin wrong on the one character, so don't know if that would have been a win for the genie or not.

The one that stumped the genie was Frisky Puppy, co-star with Claude the Cat in a couple of Merrie Melodie cartoons. More than 70 questions, then finally gave up with a list of eight possible. None roght, in fact it included a kitten character and Taz, the Tasmanian Devil from the cartoons.
