Great times!!

Was super impressed by Kustomchris's stock outback. even with his stock low profile roadie tyres!!

Looking forward to getting out there when it's a little more slippery!!

D

Looks like you guys had a great time :)

The group shot of your Subi's on the hill is a beauty :raz:
It's a banner pic for sure :discomonkey:

Regards
Mr Turbo

Looks like a great trip you guys had. Pity I didnt have time to make it this time.
1:03 in the video, that was a big hit to the sump guard... Was the mechanical difficulties a damaged sump?...?.
Keen to get out when the tracks become a tad more slipery although it will have to be in the Wombat as the Lerderderg gets closed in winter :(

It was a fun trip. Thanks to frug for organizing it, was heaps of fun to get out and meet everyone and check out others subies. Frug your Turbo forester and auto performs awesome, climbs really well

That looks like a great place to check out and that 1st pic is sweet! It'll be my desktop for awhile.

Gidday Folks

Glad you all had a good day out.

Bugger about the sump guard/sump ...

Damage report?

I moved the relevant posts here to a trip report thread. Seemed appropriate.

Sounds like you had a great day, all except for the damage. A few dents I can handle but mechanical damage isnt good :(:shake:

Looks like a fun day Y'all!!!

Sorry about the damage, hopefully nothing too serious. Great pic of the cars lined up over the arch.

I'm disappointed I wasn't there - but that said it was a good weekend being at home for once!

That climb that everyone was flogging up had been done a few years back in my stock L series, it can be seen at the start of my video "build a subi and have some fun" from memory.

Cheers

Bennie

Can't find your video El Freddo ?!

Found it !

the green forry with the rear bar: In the video the bar seems to be missing the section that wraps around the rear left. I thought the bar was one piece, so I am curious as to what happened to that section.

The owner of the green said he had someone hit him and it just peeled off. Looked like the weld had just cracked at the join and pulled of the piece at the rear quarter. The downside of ally no strength, it bends then cracks and breaks.

^ thanks. Nice to know that my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

Yea its also good to know if someone hits the subie extreme rear bar its not going to bend the rear quarter and subframe writting off the car.

Unless they run into the rear of the vehicle. the bar undeneath the bar is full on. It would write the vehicle off.
