15" mud tires

I have a 01 subaru impreza outback sport with 2-1/2 lift but would like to stay as close to factory size tire as I can they are 15's. can anyone help?

We never got the Impreza Outback Sport here in Aus mate.. What's the standard size? 205/70R15?
You won't have much choice in muddies in that size, going upto 215/75R15 you can get BFG muddies which are highly recommended.

Maxxis trepadors make the smallest muddy in size 205 70 r15 the next smallest is maxxis mt753 I think they are. There size is 205 75 r15

How did these tires work out? A friend of mine is looking to pick up a set however his 99 outback sport isn't lifted... Really worried about rubbing.

If anyone knows if they fit without a lift please chim in!

Answered my own question with a bit of research.

Looks like 205/70-15 are the max size.

^ well done. A lift does not do much in relation to size as you are limited by the spring perch.
