Rear Bearings

I have another dead rear bearing, does anyone know if a Gen 1 Legacy bearing is stronger than a Forester one ? I think that they are needle vs ball, am I right ?

I don't know, but would be interested to know.

I had a bearing die ont he weekend, and am interested to knwo about heavy duty replacements. Will scout around and see what I can find. Would appreciate any advice on this.
