myself and my partner went up to dargo for the weekend in the victorian high country (only 1h10m from my house:lildevil:)
had a great time did some exploring, went upto grant (historic town) and then continued up to talbotville. a really good dirt track to get there. nothing hard but very long and the road was rough and steep (used low range for the decent and accent) awesome area did a couple of river crossings which is always fun :monkeydance: although the track has claimed another shock :furious: getting very sick of replacing these expensive weak items! dont have the money to go down the path that kevin did so am thinking about just buying bulk cheaper struts and get used to replacing them monthly :rotfl:

anyway here are some pic's

"Canadian Club" I never tasted it... but I approve just because it's representing Canada all the way down there! :p

How did the shock failure happen?

the one that blew was a monroe, got kyb in the back, but one of them is stuffed too! that makes at the moment 3/4 shocks that are stuffed hahaha.
i am going to see if the shock is under warranty its only done 20,000-25,000ks so im hoping they have a 30,000k warranty :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about the shock failing mate :madred:
Great to see that it didn't dampen your w-end too much

Regards

Thats a bugger bout the shock. If yours keep going maybe either go genuine (oil filled not gas, much more durable but more expensive) or perhaps custom will work out cheaper in the long run....

im going to give ultima shocks a go i think about $400-450 for all four shocks. although they are cheap apparently they are really good and have read good reviews. i couldn't invest the amount of $$$ for custom shocks i would rather put that money towards a stronger 4by to be honest
