Hey so in installed my mag light to my glove box today and I thought it turned out really well.

Easy, cheap upgrade that is useful

I like it too, Ejipner. I just hope that your passenger doesn't have long legs, or they may beat up their knees. <insert comment about dating a supermodel> ;)

I've been thinking about a Maglite for the Forester as well. My thought was to have it below the passenger seat, just in front of the frame. (I am thinking about installing a fire extinguisher in the same spot on the the driver's side.)

I originally was worried about passenger knees but I am 6'1" and when I tested the location I had plenty of room. I think my only issue would be if I had a big person in the front and the back seat.

The fire extinguisher idea is brilliant and I'm deffinatly going to do that

Looks good Ejipner :)

The only other thing I'd be wondering about, with it in that position, is the air bag :iconwink:

Regards
Mr Turbo

Hope those clips are strong? would really hurt to cop that in the face in a head on accident!

That's what I've been looking at, but I couldn't seem to find a metal mount for it... I definitely don't trust the little plastic thingy that comes with it. If you find a good solution, let us know!

Well I got one from amazon for like 5$ and it works amazing. I dont worry about it coming out, it's in there. I will take pics when I go out later.

Looks good, I used quick fist clamps in my old truck for my mag light.
If your looking for a good fire extinguisher mount check with Primitive! I noticed he had a mount made to go in front of the passenger seat in his mountain edition forester.
The other option is as I mentioned quick fist clamps, they come in multiple sizes!
