Ok so I'm building a 2" strut lift for my SH and I'm concerned about the stupid rear bush on the front LCA that they went to with the +08 imp, +09 foz and +05 lib. It's a f#*king stupid design that Daewoo used for years with constant problems.

I've already had 2 sets replaced under warranty and with the lift I'm betting they will tear instantly (now out of warranty) so I'm looking for a pillow ball replacement, yes I know it will increase NVH levels but its just something ill have to deal with. I've been looking at PBMS and other rally companies with limited success, most only list for STI but Im led to believe they don't interchange.
I also believe the +11 STI has a rubber insulated pillow ball from factory but again they don't fit and the STI LCA will increase my track.

Hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction.

Whiteline make 3 replacement bushes although none are exactly what you want mine be the best you can do and will be more reliable.

Cheers mate, I might have to look at dropping the engine crossmember and rear FLCA mount so the bush isn't stretched so much. I'm not really keen on this as it will half defeat the point of the lift.

I'll have a look at my factory bush, i've had a 1inch lift for some time now and have had no issues with these bushes. my foz is a nov 2011 built car. i've already put nearly 43000kms so maybe they've revised this bush. Or i've just been lucky.

Yea I came across them but after reading about them, they seem to be rubber insulated like the factory STI ones and I'm not sure they will stand up to the misalignment a 2" lift will create

Seems your google skills are better than mine.
Unfortunately most of them are designed for track use and not big misalignment. Do you know who sells power flex ones other than MRT? Do repco or supercheap keep them?

Let us know how you go? I've been looking at the WL anti-lift offset nolathane type bush for a bit more reliablity. the bearing units maintenance seems too high for me.
