Well, I have just bought a double din touch screen stereo on eBay, it has GPS, Bluetooth, DVD, reverse camera, iPod connectivity, USB playback and analog tv that won't work here :iconwink:

It is new has the GPS aerial, the reverse camera and the iPod cable and it is going to be delivered for $219

I know I am risking the money but that is bloody cheap so I will let you know when I receive it some time in the next couple of months

Good luck with that.

If they work, they work well.

But unfortunately I know far too many people who've bought them and had issues with them. They'll randomly freeze, the iPod/iPhone functionality might not work are some of the issues encountered.

Let us know how it goes though! Fingers crossed its all good.

I have a top of the range kenwood unit in my wife's car which retails at $2990, it does all the same things and it freezes occasionally, I am certain the Chinese one will freeze as well. They are based on windows so they are all screwed:lol:

It looks like it turned up today but I am in Brisbane and won't be able to install it till next week, what's strange is I can get deliveries from china quicker than I can get them from Melbourne. It took four weeks to get some lights from Melbourne and 9 days from china, go figure.

I know what you mean. I send something in perth to somewhere else in perth and it took 9 working days. I have gotten things from over east and overseas quicker... this is to WA too which takes for ever..
