Blu2 will get a formal introduction soon, but for now i have a question. Blu2 is a 2005 Outback ltd with full sunroof. Where do people pass power for roof rack mounted lines? I havent looked into it yet, but i was looking for ideas.

I havent done it myself but perhaps up the "B" pillar & out the door? I wouldnt go anywhere near the sunroof...a wire going through there will damage the rubber enough to let in water

i was thinking maybe up the a pillar, and somehow breach the roof via the roof rack footing.

I would be very circumspect about levering off trim panels in these later model cars. They tend to have air bag and pre-tensioner seatbelt sensors all around the passenger cell.

Unless you know exactly what you are doing, disable the above by disconnecting the battery completely for 20-30 minutes, as recommended by Subaru.

Then maybe back to the C pillar. Im not afraid of panels and air bags.
