I received a pair Hella 500 Driving Lights as well as a set of Hella 500 Fog Lights for Christmas. I was wondering if installation changes when you add multiple pairs of lights. Or can I just follow the instruction and install each pair as if they were the only set on the vehicle. I'm new to the lighting and wiring so I'm not even sure if my question makes sense. Please let me know if I need to clarify. All input is welcome. Thanks for the help!

If it were me, I'd be be installing them as 2x separate sets.

However, if you wanted to set them up so as they all work off the one switch, that could be done also. I'm just not exactly sure how to do that correctly though.

Someone with a better knowledge should be able to confirm this.

I wouldn't recommend wiring them via a single switch. If conditions are such that you need fog lights, the additional driving lights will blind you, not assist you. Put the fog lights down low, and the driving lights up high, and wire them separately.

Thanks guys. I would like to keep them separate. So I don't need any additional materials other than what is provided with the lights? Other than some split loom for the wiring possibly? Thanks again!

^ second that.

Adequate relays are the key. As close to the lights as possible.

From my Batphone.

There are stacks of wiring diagrams available on the web - just google.

Agree to separate them & use relays.
