Taking the next step in upgrading vehicle ability buy purchasing one for camping and general storage stuff. Quite a few options but am confused as to which one I really need. I like the wire baskets but have my heart set on the this one ( As it has ddjustable load bars which will allow attachment of bike, ski and water sport carriers ). WIll also purchase later the length extension 828-1, which then the basket can be extended by 48 cm in length.
I guess all I really need is to get the camping gear on top ( Tents, double self inflatable ) and maybe an area for recovery gear. Most of this stuff wont fit in with the kayak on top but if I go a thinner wire basket ( Rhino rack with bag ) I will have to use a J bar system to mount the yak ( Which I too already own ). I guess I just answered my own question as the J bar does not tolerate offroad scenarios and high speeds.

Just wondering if there is a reason you guys use mainly wire baskets?
Thanks for your help,
Derek
