Good Old RAC(RAVC), they are there when no one else is.

I am in possession of LongyGT's Forester and am doing some maintenance/work on it to fix it up to try and sell(he upgraded to an XT). While driving it to the workshop after work tonight(yes in peak hr traffic) the centre diff decided to blow up :(
It has been binding really bad and locking up, I just happened to be driving it when it decided to give up. Not a bad life from it though of 210,000km with 100,000km of that having extremely, mega hardcore offroad abuse like you could not imagine :rotfl: :lildevil:

Thought I'd share my monday evening with you guys. lol

I have to admit I cancelled my RAC membership years ago but still use their card to get a 10% discount at repco...

I love those white SF's, and I see a snorkel too :lildevil:

Hey Taza - any info on the state of this diff once it was pulled out? Mine has been binding (when hot) for the last couple of years but I've not worried about fixing it as I don't think it really does any harm apart from a bit of extra strain on driveshafts when turning. Maybe there's more to it though if this one failed...
