The best I could get from my back yard

Gidday OO

Good effort nonetheless mate.

I have the solar filter and telescope, but no eclipse.
You had the eclipse, but no solar filter or telescope ...

Oh well :iconwink: .

It's a shame you didn't have a filter mate.
Also glad the clouds cleared in time for you guys to see the eclipse.

There will be another one - in 2028! But this one was special in the time that it lasted!

The last one in 2002 was awesome, my brother and I drove to Ceduna to watch it - AMAZING! I fully encourage anyone to go to see one of these if they can, it's something you cannot describe - you have to experience it!

Good effort on the pics even though you didn't have the filter. Did you see it at totality or were you not quite in the right area?

Great to see that someone saw it - Bros and I said we'd be there for this one but life seems to have got in the way (plus a continent!).

I'm keen to see pics from any other members that saw it if there are any!

Cheers

Bennie

We are too far south, about 400km south of cairns so we only got about 80% block out, it was really bazaar having the light drop and the temp dropped dramatically over the few minutes that it was at its peak. Even though we didn't get the full block out it was still really cool
