sorry about your loss. I hope you find a good replacement.

That's very bad luck, Nipper. Sorry to hear it :(.

I hope that you and yours fared better than your beloved OB ...

Insured?

Ouch... I hope you and your family are all OK. And that the damage (the Subby as well as the house and everything else) will be covered under insurance!

Man that's such a bummer! I was wondering how you guys were handling it up there... Hopefully insurance will take care of you, but i also know a lot of companies won't offer comprehensive covg on a 15yr old vehicle. Def. one helluva storm. Did you guys ride it out or head out for a couple days? I can only imagine what it's like up there as i remember having all the people from Louisiana & East TX running like hell from Katrina & Rita. Bryan/College Station (my old town) had a population of close to 200,000 people, but when those 'canes made their way over, it more than doubled to 500,000, giving us a heck of a gas shortage.

Sorry to hear nipper.

I've been thinking about you and wondering if you were alright, glad you were finally able to check in. We had a lot of friends and some family up there lose houses, cars, boats...etc. Thankfully no one we know lost a life or had any serious injuries.

Hopefully you can restore some normality relatively soon.

Good to hear you are safe at least.
Hopefully you will be able to get a 'new' Blu and get back on the road soon.

Sorry to hear about your loss...

It's hard to tell from the photo - did it get buried in mud?

If that is the case I know a few people who would get enjoyment out of trying to get it going again......however they are all in Australia. Many a drowned Subie have been resurrected provided the engine wasn't hydrolocked/killed.

Bugger mate. Not cool :(

Bennie
