2004 Subaru Forester XT (original turbo w/ 69k miles), 3" catless dp, oem catted up, k&n panel filter , sti catback, cobb ap OTS stg 2, shell rotella T6 (was amsoil XL previously).
Other things to note: Never overheats, needle (when up to temp) is always under half. Gas mileage is great (I came from a lifted truck before this).
I don't notice white smoke upon cold start, usually takes a minute or two for the smoke to make an appearance. I will then only see it at idle (and not all the time either), I don't see any smoke billowing out behind me while the vehicle is moving.
There is no smoke coming up from the oil fill or the dipstick and the oil, which was changed a week ago was not milky at all. The coolant is nice and green, no chunks or anything weird going on there. I haven't noticed any coolant loss but I guess a leak could be so minimal that it just hasn't shown up in the overflow level yet? I just added subaru additive to the tank as the previous owner did not add it at the last fluid change.
I see no signs on the exterior (engine wise) of any leaks and neither did 2 subaru techs (for what that is worth) at 2 different times.
I did notice this small leak:
Turbo looks a little wet on top, not sure if this is normal:
I pulled the TMIC a couple days later, spots where oil was found are circled. It didn't seem like a scary amount, just a little bit. I also found some in the throttle body/tmic coupling, very light film of oil. I noticed nothing in the TB inlet though.
I was about to put it all back together when I took one more close look from the driver side. Looks a bit off to me but what do I know?

Things I have not yet done:
Pulled the plugs, compression test, leakdown test
I pulled a muscle in my lower back on Saturday while helping a friend with his car, put me out of commission this whole week. I need to get the tools to run those tests or find someone that would be willing to help. Would a combustion leak tester be a good idea? I didn't notice bubbles under the tank cap but I am going to try again later when the car has completely cooled down.
I appreciate any and all help/insight before I have to suck it up and take the car to a shop.
