Logged out :(

Why am I getting logged out constantly?

Today I've been logged out 2 or 3 times already, even though my user name etc shows up in the top right hand corner as usual. I've not been away from the forum or on a page for 10 minutes or more.

What's going on??

I can't see any reason at the site end.

Maybe it is your browser/ISP link? Just a couple of thoughts.

You will recall that I had the same problem over at SF. I never got to the bottom of that.

This site keeps me logged on forever ...

Thats strange El_Freddo.

Perhaps it's like what Ratbag said, something to do with your browser/ISP.

Maybe SuperRU can have a deeper look into it.

Dunno,

But I've just been away from the computer, cut up some malteaser slice, fed the dog, watched some house husbands between all of that (plus continued on the dog training at feeding time) etc, and I'm still logged in as per usual.

On other forums I'm apart of it's 10 minutes without activity - painful sometimes but you get used to it and it becomes normal. What I was experiencing was less than ten minutes. Usually if I'm having trouble at my end it's the internet dropping out for a period of time...

Ah well, hopefully it's not something that continues, as it is now it seems that all is well again

How?? I've not had this issue before! And all seems fine tonight after one drop out so far.

On that note, I've got to take our almost 3 year old dongle back to Hnorm to have it tested... apparently they usually go funny at the two year mark. We'll see what happens there.
