2001 forester strut tops

gday, just asking for a mate, are the front and rear strut tops physically the same?

The fronts also have a bearing in there because the lower section turns with the strut with the steering.
 
cheers, looks like he's gotta pull em out so can trace them and get the bolt spacing correct. oh well.

just in the process of building a 40 or 50mm strut lift

Just wanted to thank you guys for the reply on this. Vidler was asking for me and since then he has made me a 2 inch strut lift for my 01 Forester GT.

Thanks again to you guys and a big thanks to him for making it. VERY happy with the extra height.

hey subarino welcome to ORS mate. now you know were going to need pics. you cant just tell us you've got a new lift and not show pics:biggrin:

If y'all have any helpful hints and/or photos of the lift itself, would you mind posting up in the DIY Lift Kit Info thread???
