A dude on my local forum has '00 Impreza TS stock bronze rims for 100$ the set. I'm looking at these for my A/T tires to be able to get the much more common 15in A/T as my current wheels are 16in (which I'd keep for my winter tires).

Questions:
- OEM Foresters are +48, these are +55... It should fit with 215/60R15, correct? What about larger tires? If I understand properly the offset thing, having +55 instead of +48 means the tire is closer to the strut, so larger tires might rub. Would something as dumb as wheel spacers do the job to solve that issue and get back to stock-ish offset (I'd actually be at +47 with the cheap & common 8mm spacers) or I'm completely wrong here?

- Anyone has pics of these rims? The guy says he doesn't have a camera, and Google gave me a bunch of results, but I'm not sure which one is correct... Just so I can do a quick photoshop and see how it looks with my Forest Green

- Will I need an alignement everytime I swap them with my winter wheels (stock 16in +48), or only the usual balancing?
Thanks!

Honestly I'd look for a set of Outback or Foz 15's, the 7mm will make a big difference being closer to the strut and spacers can be a bit iffy because A they are illegal so no insurance and B unless you get ones that hold the center of the wheel in place you are putting all the strain on the studs and nuts which can cause problems snapping studs ...... Google will give you a better answer than I can.

Thank you very much for your input! I knew there were regulations regarding the offset that must be within a certain % of stock specs, but upon re-reading the law, after your comment, it has to be using built-in offset in the wheels... spacers being entirely illegal.

So it's a no-go. I will go with Outback or Foz 15's then.

Thanks!
