Set out with friend in his stock Grand Vitara n/a 4cyl

Here are a few stills, video highlights still in development

Took the track almost half way before deviating towards the Spanish Steps where we set up camp at the peak for a hot lunch of lamb cutlets and chicken squewers with a view :) after the late lunch, we doubled back to the BFH track and finished it off, following the Old Bells Line Road back to civilization. Will return again for camping to explore multitude of branching tracks.

It's fun up there for sure. Here's the Spanish Steps in case you're wondering what they're like:

Suzuki pro's:
Low range
Suzuki cons:
Tires
Ground clearance at front passenger side fowler mulitple times
Front bumper gave very little approach
Not a big deal but he did use more than 2x more fuel :)

He plans to add underbody protection, tires, and eventually a bullbar to alleviate these issues
once he has tires- i fear he will leave us behind hahah
He had a clear advantage with the low range thi: on some of the climbs and descents he just strolled down whereas I had to plan my line and commit at considerable more speed.

Definitly want to address the ESP switch too.

its a pitty the diesel doesnt have low range, i think they would be more popular if they did

Yes, the diesel Foz would be awsome with low range. My Triton is a 2.5 turbo diesel with low range and it's fantastic.
