Uneven ride height

Hi guys,

I got a 1"inch spring lift a couple of months ago. Since then, the car has always been lower in the rear. I thought if I gave it time to settle, it might level out. However I've just spent a day dragging its backside around on the trails and this got me thinking what I can do to fix it?

I've just ordered a 1"inch body lift kit off Subtle and am awaiting delivery from the US. Will this fix it or make it worse?

I'm use to the stock self-levelling rears which always kept things level. However with luggage and/or people in my car, the height difference is becoming quite obvious.

Any advise/thoughts would be appreciated!

I think the problem is the self leveling struts are doing their thing and reducing the ride height back to stock. you might have to get new non sls KYB struts for the rear.

I had the shocks replaced at the same time with the appropriate KYB non-self leveling replacement.

The springs and shocks were brand new and done all at the same time.

Like nipper says, looks can be deceiving.
However, if you've been out & have your butt dragging, it's probably not that.

I be checking the part No's of both the springs & struts.
Like El_Freddo & stilson said, they may have given & fitted the wrong ones.

My outback when it was lifted and even without lift looks lower in the rear because of how the bottom body work seems to run downwards. But really its not.

I have new springs/struts too & my rear is slightly lower than the front also. I would like to put in 1" spacers in the rear to jack it up a little...

I'll find a level surface and take some measurements. But my eyes are not deceieving me, there is a difference front to rear. It only becomes worse with luggage and people.

Just get a fat chick to ride up front with you ;)

This could be a little overkill
