snapped a pic of the sea of imprezas, but i didn't care about that. i came for the mud pit!

some more, wish i would've camped so i would've had to get up so early and then drive home with all that mud in my wheels

i took the pic of the baja cuz i want a lightbar to look just like that for my car. took most of those pics before the mud pit so you could tell what they were. didn't care for the sea of imprezas, but next year ill definitely camp so i dont have to drive home with dried mud in my wheels. subaru enthusiasts typically hate the current gen legacy/outback, i was the only one there except for a newish legacy which was a rental car. i got so many compliments on my driving in the mudpit, they couldn't believe what i could do with an automatic "grandma car." hope i can find a vid, hundreds of people there, somebody had to have taken a video.

But I have to ask, what engine etc, has this guy got mounted in the rear of his Subi ??

That looks like great fun! I wish we had Subaru shows like that here in Aus.

I like the black brumby with the KCs.

Did your black plastic fender inner do any damage as it came out?
Mine tore up the fender and cracked the paint.

That was my white foz with M/T's...I got 2nd place....:biggrin:

I have pics of me going through the mud drag lane..Also doing some insane trails...in Chicamum...(my hatchie would've made quick work of it..)That trail took out my crappy fog lights...:lildevil:
and a splash guard..all to be upgraded and replaced...:twisted:

I saw your tricked out outback...Loved the blacked out trim...nicely done..! I've peeled out many fender liners...over the years..lol

Awesome stuff. Quite a few subi's in there that I recognise from USMB.

Shame we don't have the density of subi fans in a close enough area to have one of these over here. Plus the public liability insurance would be a killer too :(

Great production of the event too. The vid crew did an awesome job!

thanks, i was wondering why such a badass forester was so spotless and not going in the mudpit, but then i found out you were going to an actual trail. i would've tried that drag mud pit if i would've had more power or mud tires. and thanks for the compliment, i hate chrome so much, had to get rid of it. oh yeah, thats the second time i've ripped out my fender liner. last month i got hung up on a tree and ripped a lot of stuff, looked like i hit a deer. here's my repair of the broken front bumper, which i original broke playing in the snow, held on with epoxy and then that tree finally ripped it off.

My car! I just picked this up last week. Looking forward to continuing the mods and hopefully I will be able to bring it to WCSS15 completely refreshed with a few more interesting mods.
