saw this subi on an image search... WHOA!

Had a "little bit" of work I see! :iconwink:

I did a reverse image search and found this... it's the same car.

This IS a Forester underneath ;) It is on the local Army base. I know exactly where that pic was taken :) I have seen it up close at the Citadel Mall on more than 1 occasion.

Obviously alot of $$ poured into it! Can't say it's a POS just for someone customizing their Subi to fit their offroad needs.
That's a real pioneer right there, fellas. It's what gets talked about on here everyday!

I see that they have also fitted duel winches too, on both the front & rear :iconwink:

I was pretty sure someone from here would have noticed this thing.
What are the juicy details? H6 auto? Is that a live axle in the rear I can see?

Yep looks like a solid rear axle. I wonder how much else is still Subie. I like it, although it would be completely unroadworthy & illegal here. Imagine it on some of our Victorian rocky tracks :lildevil:

It is a solid rear with the independent front still in place. I could not see under the hood or see under the front to check out if it is in fact an H6 or not(the wife calls me out for crawling around random Subarus, lol). I did take a look inside and it looks pretty much stock except for some DR gear levers ;) If I am up in Colorado Springs and see it again I will be sure to snag some pics before my wife starts pulling me away ;)

That sure looks like the Isuzu Axiom -- it was sold in the States during 2002-2004. It was built at the Subaru Plant in Indiana.

I don't think this is a SUBARU. The tail lights aren't right and the gas door is on the wrong side. I don't know what it is but it's not a SUBARU. Kinda looks like a bad joke to me (my personal opinion).

There was a local guy who had a Ford Aerostar van on some other chassis, with a Chevy engine, With SUBARU badges, and emblems, Blasphemy.
