I'm looking at lifting a 1996 subaru legacy GT.

I've seen a few people say they are using the struts off of the subaru outback with the stock springs to get some lift. Does anyone on here have this particular lift and if so, does it work?

Also, to get a bit more lift could you use the lifting king springs for the same year subaru outback?

I noticed in the catalog they do not have lifted springs for the legacy of that year but shouldn't the outback ones work?

Just wondering if y'all think that would work without to much difficulty for someone with limited knowledge of making modifications like this.

Thanks in advance

hay man i have 1995 legacy l .i used 2004 forester struts in front and rear with out back springs in front and 04 forester springs in the rear . it gave me a little over 2 inches just doing that . then put 2 inch strut top lift . with 215/75r15 tires its given me about 5 inches of lift total . hope that helps .
