I went to the wreckers today and made the most horrible of discoveries, there was a 2000 H6 Outback in there in perfect condition it didnt even have door dents, I could not fault it {except maybe a clean) yet it had a red sticker on the screen saying the car is a non repairable rightoff. They believed it was due to water damage but the vehicle had no signs of water damage and the guys in the wreckers said it runs perfectly.

And sitting beside the perfect H6 was a 2000 liberty wagon with half the front end caved in with a repairable right off sticker on it.

On the bright side I now own two perfect condition headlights for my Liberty:lol:

very sad, but good chance there was some sort of water damage

I reckon it was a bit dodgey, I looked it over top to bottom and I dont believe it its been underwater or even a creek crossing, the carpet underlay had not been wet and there was no evidence of any water residue in any wiring. If it has been under its been extremly well covered up

Is it possible to have it inspected over the pits if its alright? If so would've been a steal to buy.
