MY06 Subaru part no is SU-E771ESA000, according to the quotation I got from Mentone Subaru just before Christmas 2011.

+1, I would like one of these rear step panel things...

How much is Subaru Australia charging for them, I wonder...

$195.48 + 10% GST, according to the quote :(.
Flaming lot of dough for a bit of 'plastic' moulding, IMNSHO ...

The parts guy there reckoned that some ribbed step material held on with double-sided body moulding tape would be just as good ... He was a little surprised at the price as well. The OEM moulding is held on with double-sided tape.

That's a bit rich by Subaru! Can't say I'm surprised, though...

Better off getting a bit of rubber from Clark Rubber and double-side tape it in!! :)

Cheers, Ratbag!

No worries mate.

Considering the entire water pump assembly for Roo1 was only about $125; hard to see the value (cost) in a bit of rough injection moulded body panel plus some double-sided tape at nearly double the price ... :(

Compared with all other water pumps I have ever had in my hands, the one for the Impreza is built like a Swiss watch. Easy to see the value in that component part.

i knew nothing would be out for my 12 yet but im really disapointed by subarus stateside website- especially when comparing it to uk and aus - is it too much to ask for a nice bully bar without having to custom fabricate it
