Wombats new troopy!

Maybe thats what I need as its not a POS Subaru and will handle a beating!

Nice buy, being a turbo it will go pretty well. Not as quick as a H6 though.

Nice find Wombat!

Haha, there are cars that are meant for taking beatings & cars that can handle spankings every now and then ;)

Wow that is a really nice Troopy! Been kitted out well - love those tyres!

355,xxx kms, do these Landcruisers ever die, haha...

Somewhere around 600-700,000km they do
If I didn't live in the city I would so buy a 60series landcruiser like this!

Just one word of precaution before you fork out the rest of the money, get underneath and poke your fingers into the chassis rails, there are holes all along the sides of them, I wish I did on my 60 Series about 12yrs ago as it would have saved me doing a complete chassis change over because it was rusted so badly, one decent bump and it would have bent in half. Used as a boat anchor I think.

Almost bought one last week, except it was white, was kitted out to tour Austrlia, 90L evakool in the rear on a drawer system with a rooftop tent on top, big tyres with lift, 2 cbs and a next g antennna, was a solid rig, should of bought it, was only going for $8,5000

Ahhh good point, i know i will be checking for rust like a hound, he has fish oiled all the interior panels and under the wheel arches religiously, i know the car has cracked pinion gears in the rear diff so that needs to come out, hopefully it makes the 4 hour drive home, he said its not leaking oil and not making any sounds so it can't be that bad, his mechanic noticed diff oil leaking at its rego check and pulled it apart and found the busted diff, put a new diff seal on it, it will be replaced with an arb air locker while its out:)
