I'm just going to have to make the best out of this one. The wife is out of town unexpectedly, I was going to take the day off and spend it with her, so that is not going to work out. I was planning to go to work, but then yesterday I came down with a sore throat which got worse overnight so I'm taking the day off anyway, only I'll be spending it resting. Think I'm just having bad allergies, pollen is really bad here right now.

So, I'm old(er) today, things aren't too bad, got the kids when they get home from school and we will enjoy the day after I've had a nice rest.:ebiggrin:

There comes a time in life when getting through any particular day is exciting enough, IMHO :iconwink: :ebiggrin:. Glad yours was relaxing.

I spend a good deal of my time at one Doctor or another, so truly sympathise! :(

Sorry to hear of your allergy problems. I also have the same/similar problems with asthma and allergies ...

Went to the Dr. yesterday, turns out to be seasonal allergies combined with a bit of a chest cold so not too big of a deal. Just glad it wasn't bronchitis or pneumonia. Just what I wanted for my B-Day. :iconwink:

Probably what's wrong with me too! Bit of a temperature. I have to be very careful that I don't get bronchitis/broncho-pneumonia. Any sort of infection, I hit it hard with Prednisolone and Antibiotics. I have both on hand always.

ALWAYS carry Ventolin with you (Salbutamol). It can mean the difference between living and dying, so a tad important, IMNSHO ...

I also had a blood test plus a visit to the Doc yesterday to burn off some suspicious looking bits ... Guaranteed to make me feel like warmed over dog vomit, even without any help from whatever else I've got!

These things get more and more dangerous as we get older, just as they are with the very young ...
 
Alright, the wife got home Wed., and I'm feeling pretty much all better today.:ebiggrin:

Things are great again, just thought I'd let y'all know.:cool:
