L series Weber conversion kit by Redline

Hey guys I found this on ebay and I'm kinda interested. Especially since buying a 2nd hand hitachi is $90 and a full reco is $400!
The only problem is that buy 1990 (my model L wagon) America had moved all L series to FI. So I'm sure that this is the case, but anyone know for sure that 87 manifold is EXACTLY the same as 90+???

The weber will be the same regardless. What might be different is the stud spacing on the manifold that the carb bolts too. it will only affect what adapter plate you get, if its wrong there's plenty of places in aus to get the right one.

yeah, It's just that it's another $60 not a massive amount but it's a tank of fuel for me that I would prefer to waste driving up to Karumba for a weekend fishing
