Wet day on Double Island Point

We have a friend from America visiting and there's not much time left in his stay so we decided it was now or never to get up to Double Island/Rainbow beach. So it was rainy but we went anyway and the sun eventually came out. The best thing was, the Subey didn't miss a beat, eating up the sand no problems, even when sliding on her belly in some parts.

I seem to recognise this from somewhere...is it the worlds largest something?

Not that I'm aware of... maybe the largest deposit of Iron red stained sand?? haha. It was called the red canyon... that's all I can say
