Yep - find someone in the US that is willing to source a set from an L series that came with them from factory and have them sent in your direction... Australia didn't get the quad lights from the factory on the L series where as they did in the US.

I don't think anyone's actually done a conversion from the brumby - there would be a lot of welding of the panels to get the light surrounds to fit.

Hope this helps

One thing I'll add to this (which may be obvious): if you do source the parts out of the 'States, make sure that whoever sends them to you knows to not bother sending the sealed-beam headlamps themselves. They'll be set up for LHD dipping, and use a really crap US DOT-approved diffraction pattern on the lenses. May as well save yourself a couple of dollars on the shipping weight by not having them shipped to you in the first place.

FWIW, upgrading to European-pattern lenses/housings and doing a halogen conversion is one of the the big main lighting upgrades here - the US-spec sealed-beam lights really are just awful.

You'll have to have them adjusted anyway as the LHD dipping setup is done in the adjustment screws that hold each individual light, not in the light itself, otherwise when you buy a new unit you'd have to specify if it's left or right, last time I got new units to replace my sealed beams on an old car I didn't have to ask for left and right headlights (both were round units unlike today's vehicles!)

I do agree though about upgrading to semi sealed beams - much better potential from them. I should do that to Sunnie the Brumby... one day!
