Should I buy this?

Looks good Taza, & what a steal for only $10!!! :raspberry:

Hopefully wont go up too much but postage will be a killer. If you get it I'd look at some different couriers. One I've used a few times is e-go:
https://www.e-go.com.au/home.do

Other thing is clearance. If you compare the Subaxtreme:
https://www.subaxtreme.com.au/subaru/bullbars/forester97.html
side-by-side it looks like you might lose a little clearance but I dont think it will be much. The other thing would be weight. You could ask him to weigh it for you then email SubaXtreme for their weight.

I think it looks good though Taza, just depends on the bidding...

Now thats a steal especially at that price
But like Nachaluva said, postage/delivery would be a little pricey I'm sure

The approach angle won't be quite as good as a SubaXtreme one (I don't think, however I may be wrong) but it will be better than the stock bumper thats currently on your Forry :)

One of the guys in the Subi Club has one (TJM bullbar) on his Forry & it looks fairly good.

I have a few pics of his car, so if you want to see what it looks like fitted I can post a pic or two if you want :)

Regards
Mr Turbo

If such a thing would be for sale her in Europe for that price…. I would have bought it immediately!
Hmmm what would the shipping costs be for shipping this bumper to Holland….:)

If you're not 100% certain on the buy, don't go for it. I know you're pretty set on a subaextreme bar, and unless you were sure you want to make a compromise on your set goal I wouldn't be going for it personally.

Cheers

Bennie

haha, yeah coupla bucks lol. :rolleyessarcastic:

If you want a bullbar, there might be something in UK, otherwise East coast USA would be cheaper to ship from than here, & might have a better choice anyway

Yeah I might leave it then, I do have my heart set on a Subaxtreme one.

Nachaluva?? What about for your foz or do you want a Subaxtreme one too?

I reckon I'd buy it if I needed it.

But I dont want to spend $500-1000 thyen wish I had got a subaxtreme one.

Plus the chrome with the blue just doesn't go at all :raspberry:

Oh I found this Dulagarl. Your car with its stock 2.0l engine and auto trans. Before the snorkel and 2.5l engine. It was just lifted too in this pic and has the front bar.
Thats pretty much what I want my Foz to look like except with the supercharger under the hood and locker in the rear :lildevil:

nice pic.

I don't reckon the bar would cost you $500 incl freight. Polished alloy would look fine I reckon.

The really good thing about it is that it has vents for the radiator.

Im not worried about heat but now you brought it up. With a supercharger thats not a bad idea to think about.

Freight would be 300 alone so the bar plus a mounting bracket since that isn't supplied and I would already be 1/3 of the way to getting a powder coated Subaxtreme one.
