Took the foz up to cruise around the Blue Ridge WMA near Dahlonega GA yesterday. The weather was awesome and there wasn't much mud despite some recent heavy rain.

The main objective was to locate the site of an upcoming Expedition Portal event along Jones Creek (vid above is driving away from the campsite). After Jones Creek we drove over to Natootely Creek to say hey to a couple of guys from ExPo who were camping over the weekend.

From there we headed over to the crazy road I took Carl down in "the devil went down to ga" trip. Over the summer it was graded by the Forest Service. There was a bit of weeping and wailing in the local offroad community over this as the FS has been on a mission to "improve" all of the fun bits in the area. Fortunately wasn't totally neutered, you couldn't exactly get a camry up it as you will see in my next video...

The last time I came down this track the Foz got high centered on a boulder twice. The USFS felt the need to "improve" it over the summer:(
They didn't totally wreck it yet, something tells me they aren't finished yet.
 
Nope, didn't look quite as fun/challenging as last time.:sad: Still wouldn't hurt my feelings to go drive it again though.:ebiggrin: Looks like you had a great day out. How did the little one do???

It was more fun than expected, I wouldn't have tried it in the old condition solo. Waylon was just as happy as a clam bouncing around the dirt roads, best way to rock a lil one to sleep:iconwink:

This is the only pic I got of the car. We stopped to say "low' dare" to a couple of buds from another forum. The one guy has an insanely cool offroad teardrop, that thing has a queen size mattress in it. Talk about roughing it:raspberry:
