Yes, man made thread warming does exist, which is why we all need to respect others opinion even if we don't agree.
As some of you may know, I have an interest in history in general and the First World War in particular. I was with some friends and we were chatting about Gallipoli and the particular issues there, when someone whose ancestry is Austrian suggested I should look at it from the the other sides view. That sounded fair enough, so I looked for books on Gallipoli from the Turkish point of view. Definitely one of the better things I have done, for it taught be an awful lot about getting a balanced view on something- and how the Turks suffered. It certainly enhanced my already high esteem for the Turkish people and their leader Mustafa Kemal- surely one of the greatest statesman of all time. (And yes, the Ottoman Empire of which the Turks were the major part did do some terrible things- but that is another matter).
These things are not about supporting a team in a contest and sticking doggedly to it come what may. If we are going to be passionate about these things, we have to seriously analyse the opposing view. Heaven forbid- we might just be wrong. I certainly have been on issues I felt strongly about and have changed my view by giving the other point of view serious consideration. So can we just play it cool and hear everyone out?
