key-less entry embarrassingly loud?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else s key-less entry sound almost embarrassingly loud? Sometimes when i am locking/ unlocking the forester and there is a person in the lot next to me getting out of their car, it scares the out of them! I then go on to apologize & tell them how it was cool in 1999 :lol:

No my keyless entry isn't very loud at all. It's loud enough to hear the door locks activate, but thats about all

Do you mean the little "beep beep" noise or the door locks engaging?

Mine has no beeping but the door locks are noisy...I wish it had a quiet beep or at least flash the indicators to let me know its locked.

It would be the "beep beep" noise, but it's def. not little. More like loud chirps!

Find the source of the noise... and shove a shock in it!

Mum's old saying (probably another one of those aussie sayings that's used all over the country) was "put a sock in it" when we were getting too loud

haha that is funny! lol. I can see how you find it annoying! I wish mine flashed like that but i could do without the beep.

The chirp sounds bit like a bird getting that proverbial sock shoved somewhere
