Guess I probably should mention that last night (slept in Bellevue, WA) was the only night the temperature outside was anywhere near being above freezing. This has been a little bit of a test for me since I don't have the winter cap for the MGT yet. I have not been cold however, partly because the MGT is so well constructed and partly because of the big donkey sleeping bag I have with this time.

Sounds like an awesome road trip!!! Looks like your putting the 'ol RTT to good use too.

Have fun, and keep the posts/pics coming.

I've camped down in the Redmond/Bellevue area the past couple of nights and one thing I've noticed is that the increased humidity is making the cold seem just that much colder. Break out the down people, its cha-cha-chilly.

2nd battery and 12V electric blanket will soon fix that! :iconwink:

Before I left I was looking into building such a system using something like this, but I didn't get far enough along with it for it to be of any use.

Right now its rainy and very windy outside the office I'm working in. Tonight I expect that it will continue and I'll probably wish that I had that heater tomorrow morning when I wake up.

Rainy day stealth camp in Redmond. The night before it came down in buckets. I was warm and dry and pretty happy.

About died laughing when this came off my phone. I had been looking for directions and when done I tossed it to the passenger seat. The photo was taken accidentally from the passenger seat.
