Yesterday morning my wife had a salon appointment which left me wondering how I was going to spend a couple of hours with our baby and two dogs. This usually isn't a bit deal, we live in a place that is surrounded by walking trails and other recreational possibilities. However, when I dropped off Tess at the salon I look over my shoulder at the baby who had fallen asleep.

If you value your sanity, never wake a baby! Fortunately Daddy had a plan. We headed up behind Hartman Rocks and bumped along some jeep roads for the morning. Here's the photos.

Ah, the fresh power on the ground..
What's the deal with the extra seat belt hanging up in the back there?

haha very true lol :rotfl:

that mirrors a great idea. Do you have to turn your head around or can you see it in the rear view mirror?

Did baby stay asleep through all this??? My kids would have when they were that age.:)

Great 'little' report.

That's for the center seat belt, you should have one too.

^ maybe SF don't have them; just a lap belt? I can't recall seeing the centre sash belt in the back of an SF.

dirtyRU,

More and more pow-pow falling as I type. The high country from my office window looks like I might be sick tomorrow.:woohoo:

The center seat belt for the rear bench on the 2006 comes completely away in order to allow the rear bench to fold over. It retracts into that well in the roof.

If you set the seat head rest mirror up correctly you can see your baby in your rear view mirror. Aral (my baby) likes to kick it though so it requires adjustment from time to time. I turned around to take the shot.

Yep, we were out bumping around for about 2-ish hours. Even got the Foz up on three wheels at one point trying to transfer across a wash. Didn't hear a peep although believe me I was driving like I had a truckload of loose eggs back there.

That is a rather macho baby seat mirror, I got stuck with this friendly fellow

After 5.5 months of fatherhood I'd certainly agree to never ever wake a sleeping baby.

My Wife has something like that in her car, and depending on where we're headed it sometimes ends up in my VW. Crazy how a little piece of plastic can make you feel completely inadequate

That's just wrong! It's alright though... I'll be in the snow by this weekend.I won't have to be jealous that week ;)

Same deal with the 05 - 08 Outback.

I have the same in my MY05 Forry

Nice, glad to see some Colorado coverage here - since i'm slacking :rolleyessarcastic:

From what I understand, no slack in your life a all.:iconwink: Glad you popped in, and if you ever get time, I'm sure some of the folks here would love to hear about some of your ORS relevant adventures.

Until then we now have Saguache as our CO representative.

Yes, I do have been busy rallycrossing and doing other shenanigans. Rumor is that certain KUBO is a 2011 Rallycross PA Champion :rolleyessarcastic:
I even had a brief run with being professionally sponsored.. Man, I gotta keep up with updating my beloved fans and friends on these forums I used to call home  I promise I'll fix that soon by using up some of the ORS bandwidth :iconwink:
