As above thanks to Callum the sparky, he worked out the wiring in about 30sec and it works great though I'm yet to try it with a load, just wound it all the way in and out but here's some pics of the mount thanks mostly to seagulls over engineering, welding and cutting skills and a bit of help from me the idea's man on some of the design, I'll try it out (one day) and if it seems like it'll be useful I'll have a tow bar mounted to the front on the bash plate.
I can't see it being much use as a 4,000lb winch but doubled back to the car on a snatch block it'll double that so 8,000lb or roughly 3.6T of pulling power may be useable, good thing is I got a second complete unit for free from FleaBay if I burn it out lol. It has a hard wired remote which will be stored somewhere for emergency's or a wireless one which will be used for convenience.
As you'll see all I need to do to fit it is drop the tow ball pin through it and connect to power (not worked out yet)
