Obviously NOT an ORS.com member...

Was that a real WRX- or did he just get a WRX bonnet with scoop and vents and an aftermarket rear wing? If it was a WRX- not a nice way to treat it

I would take my foz down there but not if it didn't have any lift. The sound of the scrapping really makes me cringe

Atleast if they wanted to blow it up go and do drifts, skiddies and donuts until it dies not go down a bloody river with no lift.

I bet Subacool knows this guy
Chances are, authorities are going to see this vid, find the guy and send him a nice bill for cleaning up his mess!

Love the encouragement that the guy walking next to him was giving "your doing great" Like he had much choice, after getting himself there in the first place :eviltoyou:

And the other comment, "totally would've made it" "with a bit of speed"

Not a WRX, we didn't get the WRX until the 'bugeye' ones came out.

Don't think the guy driving is the owner. Article said the real owner abandoned the vehicle.

I did some reading on different forums yesterday, to see what I could figure out. If I remember correctly, here's the run-down...

The driver is the owner. He abandoned the vehicle after busting the oil pan out of the car.. Some members from one of the Colorado 4x4 forums went out and helped retrieve the vehicles (and cleaned up the oil). Authorities "encouraged" the owner to come out and help. (I think that "encouragement" was "get your *** back out here and help or we're going to fine the **** out of you!") The last I heard, authorities were impounding the vehicle and "encouraging" the owner to turn over the title to the vehicle..
