As the various mods are piling up i though i might share what i have done.
I bought my Outback in Feb 2010, a few months before I turned 18. It was the cheapest one I could find and afford and it had about 185,000km on it. When i found it i loved it straight away.

Mods and other various bits and pieces.
1. Got rid of the stock double DIN head unit and replaced it with a new single DIN JVC head unit with Ipod interface. Got a second pocket to fill the void left from the double DIN headunit.

3. Got rid of the plastic sump guard and made my own out of some 3 or 4( forgot how thick) mm thick aluminium sheet.
4. Custom made a set of draws to go in the back for camping.
5. New KYB and heavy duty raised lovells springs. Gained roughly 1 to 1.5 inches in ground clearance.
