I got a sweet deal recently! Coy's Custom Wheels & Tires in Denver have asked me to race their 2011 STi to promote their new tire - CamberTire

Last Sunday we took it out to an autocross event put on by a local RM BMW club. I've placed 2nd in combined Street Touring class (out of 12). We're racing in STU with stock suspension!! These tires are amazing

Now that's awesome! There is a guy just down the hill from us that has a beautiful 2010 or 2011 Pearl colored STi with tires that look almost identical to those. Only diff is that i have only seen that car moved ONCE in the last 6 months they have lived here, moved from SoCal. Just a waste.....
 
Oh man, jealous indeed! Do you work for them or know them? Wish someone would come up to me and go "dude, drive this for me". :biggrin:

I got lucky couple weeks ago when I've decided to "visit" a close by autox event just to say hi to some of my friends. I showed up late, wasn't planning on racing that day anyways. This Cambertire team has been out to a few of our events and they've been struggling with almost no ax experience (bunch of car guys going "how hard could this be!" :lol: ). Anyways, somebody mentioned my name to them when they were going around and socializing that day. So when I've showed up they came running to me asking about my experience and background. I ended up taking a few laps in the car that afternoon (timed but not scored "fun runs") on the course. I posted 7 second faster lap times than their driver and 1 second faster than the 1st place winner in their class :discomonkey: Skillz :bcool:
