I saw this on Yellowstone's FB page update & just about made me want to jump out of my chair and head west. Very good clarity in the filming just makes it all that much better.
If you love the outdoors, then you will like this.

A friend of mine in Seattle is trying to talk us into meeting her out at Yellowstone, that makes it all the more tempting.:raspberry:

Anyone want to fund a 2 month family road trip for us??? (Plenty of other great things we need to see too)

A work mate is going in September from here in Melbourne, wish i was as well.

Love to know what camera this guys is shooting with seeing as i am after a dedicated video camera..

Seeing he was from here in the Austin, Texas area, i send him a mssg asking what equiptment he used. He just responded & his camera is a Canon XF300 & editing software is Final Cut Pro X.
I looked up the camera, it retails here for about $6400! :surprised:

You could easily get the same quality from a DSLR for a quarter of that price. (more options for different lenses as well). DSLR's are quickly becoming the video camera of choice these days, especially with amateur film makers. My camera of choice would be a Canon 5D Mark II as it has a full 35mm image sensor. (which is about half the cost, leaving me more money to buy lenses to get the correct effect and focal depth).

As for Yellowstone, I've been there as a kid, and still have very vivid memories of the place. It was truly amazing, and can't wait to head back there someday to do some camping and such. Great vid.
